The Qantas Dreamliner names have been announced!

Following a public competition to find 8 names that represent the Spirit of Australia, you could soon be boarding the Boomerang, Waltzing Matilda, or Quokka amongst others.

The Qantas Dreamliners will hit the skies from October this year, Qantas is holding quiet on which name will be the first rolled out at this point and will reveal them as the planes come into service.

The fleet of names are:

• Great Barrier Reef
• Boomerang
• Skippy
• Waltzing Matilda
• Uluru
• Great Southern Land
• Quokka
• Dreamtime
