Meet The Team

Mark Trim is company director of Complex Travel Group Pty Ltd. Mark has been in the industry since he was 20 years old, starting the company with wife Amy in 2008. Mark’s now taken a step back from consulting to focus on the commercial side of the business and managing the team. When he’s not on Dad duty, Mark is a keen trail and ultra runner.

Amy started Complex Travel Group Pty Ltd with husband Mark in 2008 and is the unsung hero of the company, keeping everything running at the back-end, dedicating her time to the finance and HR responsibilities of the company. Amy has a keen interest in dancing, fashion and exercise in her spare time when not looking after their 2 young children.

Anthony is CEO of Complex Travel Group Pty Ltd. Anthony is an experienced leader of growing businesses across automotive, online marketing, consulting and has also spent time in the defence industry. Anthony loves to be active outside of work, whether trail running, playing basketball or running around after his 3 boys. He is also a C-grade drummer for fun!

Kenny is an IT Development Manager with extensive expertise in website development, IT project management, and graphic design. When not behind a PC, Kenny enjoys playing social basketball, frequenting one of Adelaide’s many restaurants and enjoying a local glass of wine.

Laura’s travel industry journey began 18 years ago, after starting her career in finance. She is passionate about leadership and delivering outstanding customer service, having led large-scale businesses across multiple sites in Australia. Laura loves all things music, and you’ll often find her at gigs locally, interstate and overseas. Her favourite trips have included camping in Africa, trekking in Nepal and soaking up the sun in Samoa.

Gen has worked in the travel industry for 20 years in roles including a Tour Manager in Europe, retail, corporate, training and operations. Gen is passionate about travel and has visited over 50 countries with a highlight being able to view the gorillas in their natural habitat in Rwanda. Outside of work Gen enjoys playing baseball and volunteering at the club as a coach for her daughters team.

Jim has been in the travel industry for 7 years and is passionate about all things aviation. Jim’s favourite flight was on the Etihad A380 and outside of work he enjoys a game of social volleyball and getting away for a camping weekend. Jim and his partner have two beautiful daschunds, Hugo and Sven.

Jodie has 20+ years of experience in the travel industry. She began her career focused on fishing and diving holidays before discovering her passion for helping clients maximise their frequent flyer points, particularly for Amex cardholders. Jodie thrives in leveraging her global network to secure amazing hotels and unique activities. She is also deeply committed to promoting sustainable travel options and prioritizing animal welfare in the companies she supports.

Michaela has 20 years experience working in a travel including with Garuda Indonesia and Malaysia Airlines, wholesale travel and retail travel training. After a 2 year break during COVID, Michaela returned to her passion for travel. Outside of work, Michaela is taking her 2 kids to various sports and enjoys playing tennis. She is a tragic Collingwood supporter but don’t hold that against her!

Robert has worked in the travel industry for over 25 years, starting in retail travel before moving to the corporate space. Most recently managing large market, multi-national client's travel programs. Outside of work, Robert enjoys long-distance hiking, camping and discovering new overseas destinations to visit.

As Marketing Manager, Blake leads a talented team of marketing professionals and brings over a decade of experience in digital and traditional marketing, specialising in brand development, content creation, and campaign management. As a former performer who travelled the world in musicals and shows, Blake’s love for creativity and performing arts spills into every part of his life, on and off the clock.

Alana Sale is the Luxury Travel Manager at Onboard Luxury, with over 20 years of experience working with top brands like Flight Centre and Travel Associates, Alana creates unforgettable holidays, tours, and cruises catering for the discerning traveller. Outside of work, Alana is a big fan of the gym, sports, and great food and wine. Having travelled to more than 40 countries, she often plans her own trips around incredible food and wine experiences.

Lee has over 16 years experience in the travel industry, with over 10 years spent managing travel for large corporate businesses. An avid AFL (Port Power) and Soccer (Man Utd) fan, when Lee isn’t catching the professional games he’s coaching his son’s U10 footy team. Originally from the UK, Lee loves to get back to the motherland where possible.

Michelle first started in the travel industry 20 years ago and has worked in both wholesale ticketing and corporate travel roles across Melbourne, Adelaide and now Perth. Michelle took a 6 year hiatus from travel whilst working in the UK and travelling around the European continent. Michelle’s favourite trips were to Bulgaria and sailing along the Turkish coast.

Michelle has over 12 years travel experience including work at 2 major retail chains and a year as a tour director at Contiki. Michele joined the travel industry after finishing her Bachelor of Commerce Degree. Michelle loves animals, in particular her cats Hamish and Finn.

Liam begun his travel career in 2017 and has spent time working in London, at a large travel agency branch on Oxford St. By night, Liam is a local music producer with a focus on house and garage music. His favourite destination is Iceland where he was lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights.

Lianne began working in travel in 2006 in both retail and corporate and has returned to the industry after a 2 year hiatus. She has worked in luxury hotels in the UK and summer camps in the US, with her most memorable moment watching the ball drop in Times Square on New Years Eve. Lianne loves spending time with her 5 year old daughter, visiting cafes in the Adelaide Hills and watching reality TV.

Joe worked in 5 Star hotels in both NZ and Melbourne before joining a leading UK luxury travel firm in 2017, spending 5 years creating complex itineraries through Europe and across the South Pacific. Joe enjoys working with travellers to find unique solutions to their travel requests and as a self-described cheapskate loves a deal! His interests are gardening, hiking and crying over another St Kilda defeat.

Tess started her travel career in 2017 as a retail travel consultant before taking a brief hiatus through the pandemic. Her destination highlights so far have been Portland, Oregon, Lyon, France and Hoi An in Vietnam. With Mexico at the top of her destination bucket list, her favourite aspects of travelling are trying local cuisines and learning about different cultures. Outside of the office she enjoys going to the beach, plant shopping, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Gary and Hammer.

Daniel entered the travel industry in 2008, becoming a Team Lead in 2009. He’s focused on providing amazing customer service and tailoring the perfect trip for his clients. Daniel's favourite destination would be Italy, with all its culture and history, as well as the amazing food and wine. He loves AFL as a devoted Carlton supporter…but please don't hold this against him.

Anna began her travel career in 1999 and has largely been involved in fares and ticketing. She has also worked with MICE and Product as well as hosting private group tours. Her passion for travel began when she travelled to the USA as a camp counsellor after finishing school. Outside of work Anna runs around after her 2 boys. She enjoys hiking and camping which stems from growing up in the country. Still on her bucket list is seeing the Northern Lights in Norway and doing some hikes around the world.

Jodie brings over 10 years of experience in wholesale ticketing, along with 3 years as a corporate travel consultant. Jodie lived in Switzerland for 10 years and often travels back to Europe to visit family. Jodie’s fare and ticketing knowledge is second to none and in her spare time she passionately supports the Adelaide Crows.

Adriana has worked in the travel industry for over 15 years. With 2 young children and a sausage dog named Chilli, Adriana enjoys camping, Les Mills classes, cooking in her spare time and immersing in her Polish background.

Leeza has worked in travel for 2 years, bringing strong organisational skills and attention to detail! She’s passionate about travel and loves Bali for its beaches and sunsets. She’s dedicated to ensuring every trip goes off without a hitch. Leeza loves hip-hop music, K-dramas, and her beloved cat, Cleo - who she lovingly calls her “fur son.”

Kylie has worked in Finance within the travel industry for 15 years. Outside of work, Kylie is kept busy with her 3 children. Kylie enjoys keeping active and loves the beach, NRL and cooking for her family. Kylie's favourite travel destination is the USA.

Jodie is an administrative professional with 22 years of experience in various roles. Such as exporting/importing, sales, finance, inventory management, as well as purchasing. Jodie loves to spend time with her partner, friends, and family - and also spoiling her fur babies, Lily & Luna. She enjoys travelling, camping, the beach, live music, and cooking.

With 15 years of expertise spanning the retail and wholesale sectors of the travel and tourism industry, Julia is a seasoned professional, proficient in sales, product coordination, and operations. Hailing from Germany, Julia's wanderlust led her on extensive journeys throughout Europe before embracing Australia during her backpacking adventures. Beyond her professional pursuits, Julia finds solace and adventure in hiking and cycling.

Liz has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry and a deep love for travel. Her favourite destinations are Venice, Italy & Phuket. Next on the 'Travel Wishlist' is New York! Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her 2 children & cavoodle. Rosie. She loves family camping trips, relaxing by the beach or pool and watching her kids play sports.

Sandeep is a tech lover always passionate about learning more about the latest in AI, robotics, and online security. He enjoys working out at the gym, hiking, and spending time at the beaches. he loves balancing his passion for tech with a bit of adventure and relaxation.

Gio switched from animation to Full Stack Web Development and never looked back. He spent more than half his career under a marketing agency but always aspired to the role of IT Coordinator. Outside the workplace, Gio is passionate about running and lifting, he looks forward to representing SA in Dragon Boat at the National Championship in Sydney.

Anjelica is fresh to the marketing scene but has a passion for all things travel and creativity. She has worked in both journalism and marketing roles, making her the go-to girl for all things writing and social media. Seeing Mt Fuji in Japan was her favourite travel memory, alongside cruising the coast of Croatia.

Yusuf is an experienced digital marketer with over 14 years of expertise in paid media, data analytics and market research. He has worked with various and media agencies, helping them craft effective marketing strategies. Outside of work, Yusuf enjoys watching and playing soccer and cricket, as well as exploring South Australia's beaches, treks and diverse natural landscapes.

Marc has always been a creative spirit with a knack for writing, so naturally, he found his vocation in marketing and content creation. With an inherited appreciation for travel, his favourite destination is hands down Tokyo, Japan, with Bergamo, Italy as a close second. For Marc, downtime outside the workplace consists of comic books, movies, and writing reviews about those movies.

Madeleine worked as a retail travel consultant for 3 years prior to the onset of the Covid pandemic. Madeline’s favourite airline is Singapore Airlines and favourite destinations (so far) are Tuscany and New York. At home she’s obsessed with her mini longhair dachshund Henry and in her spare time enjoys watching true crime documentaries and Formula 1.

Andrea has over 20 years experience working in travel and has always had a passion for constructing complex round the world airfares. Andrea’s favourite holiday was spending New Years Eve on Copacabana Beach in Rio and would love to visit New Orleans again. She enjoys seeing live music and experiencing fine dining with friends.

Hannah has worked in the travel industry for over 15 years with experience in retail, high end leisure and corporate. Hannah’s best airline experience was on board the brand new Emirates A380 when it was first released. She enjoys camping and kayaking in her spare time and has plans to drive across the southern states of the USA on her next trip.

Charlotte has over 7 years experience in the travel industry, with 5 of those spent managing travel programs for large corporate businesses. Next on the bucket list for her is visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza with her partner, or seeing the Northern Lights in Canada. Charlotte is an avid dancer and performs in the Adelaide Fringe each year, but you’ll also find her watching reality TV with her cats, Bailey and Maxibon.

Kate has over 8 years of experience in the travel industry across both retail and corporate agencies. Her favourite destination is Tokyo, followed closely by Rovaniemi where she was lucky to stay in a glass igloo beneath the Northern Lights. Outside of work, Kate enjoys seeing live music, performing on stage with her dance group and relaxing at home playing video games with her partner and their beloved cat Biskit

Michelle’s travel career started in 2012 as a Retail Travel Consultant. Her favourite destinations tend to be located throughout Europe and include Finland, Switzerland, Southern Italy and London. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys the gym, shopping, exploring different wine bars or simply binge watching TV shows while cuddling her 2 fluffy cats Luna and Loki.

Katalin has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, working in corporate travel in Hungary and New Zealand before 2011. During Covid she ventured out and tried finance, but her heart pulled her back to the travel industry. Her favorite destinations are Tihany in Hungary, Palma de Mallorca, Italy and Thailand, with a bucket list that’s forever growing! She loves catching up with friends, hiking, swimming, gardening, volunteering, and having heaps of adventures with her two kids and hubby.

Lucie has over 7 years experience in the travel industry working across leisure and corporate agencies. She was born in Prague and moved to Australia in 2010, where she immediately fell in love with Australian beaches, coffee culture, wineries and lifestyle. Lucie is a social, outgoing individual who loves going to the Fringe, catching up with friend’s and going for beach walks with her dog Phoebe.

Sharon has been in the travel industry for 33 years and loves all things tour and cruise. Her favorite destinations are Italy and the USA. When she's not working, she loves eating out and hanging out with her grandchildren.

Kristy has been working in the travel industry off and on for 15 years, in both retail and wholesale roles. Amongst stints living in Scotland and Canada, she enjoys travelling the world, with some of her favorite travel memories (so far) being zip lining into a cenote in Mexico, and watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat. When she's not working or wrestling her two small children.

Sarah has been in the Travel Industry for over a decade, having worked in Retail travel, Corporate Travel, and Hotel Management. Travel is at the heart of everything Sarah does. She has toured with luxury operators like Scenic, Rocky Mountaineer, and Viking Ocean Cruises, along with small-group operators like Intrepid and G Adventures. Sarah's most memorable flights were Business Class with Qatar and Emirates.

Nat started her travel career in 2013 when she was questioning if her Law Degree was going to give her the thrill she craved, and she hasn't looked back since (apart from a few-year hiatus to raise her children). In her spare time, she's often down in the Fleurieu Peninsula with her husband and daughters enjoying quality time at her family's shack or enjoying a vino with her friends.

Alex’s travel career started in 2017 and in 2023 spent some time working in Lake Louise, Canada. Alex spends money on travel and new technology, loves anything gaming and anime related and is a massive fan of just about any major sport in the world (Go Crowies!). Alex will never say no to heading down to the beach and having a beer.

Sarah started in the travel industry in 2013 after returning from a working holiday in Canada. Some of her favourite destinations inlcude Paris, Egypt, and Canada, Outside of work Sarah can usually be found at the local ice rink either playing, coaching or managing her ice hockey club. When not at work or hockey Sarah lovers spending time with family, friends and her 2 kitties Maggie and Lilah.

Erin started her career in the travel industry in QLD 10 years ago. Working in retail, corporate and university travel over this time, she also enjoys yoga, exploring the city with friends. On top of this, she also likes learning about history and listening to a good podcast or watching a documentary. Her favourite countries she has visited so far have been Italy, Slovenia and Laos.

Becky’s travel career began in the post pandemic market with a career change from HR. With her passion for travel, she’s visited 47 countries so far, with Switzerland being next on the list. Originally from the UK, Becky has called Australia home since 2019, with trips back to see her parents where possible. Beyond her love for exploration, she finds true joy in spending quality time with friends and trying out Adelaide’s best brunch spots.

Lisa has over 17 years of experience in the travel industry as a consultant in both Perth and Adelaide and is passionate about all things travel. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her 2 children and Greyhound, dancing up a storm at Zumba, watching F1, and curling up with a good book. She is looking forward to her next big trip where she will be spending a month in New York.

Benny has 4 years of travel industry experience across wholesale and retail environments with Luxury brands. He has previously lived overseas chasing fresh powder on his snowboard and travelling the world working on a super yacht. He is super passionate about all things sport especially soccer, volleyball and golf. In his spare time you'll find him looking for any outdoor adventure or watching documentaries.

Rachael has been in the travel industry coming up to 2 years, but before that spent much of her life travelling with her family. She hopes to see as much of the world as she can, with 21 countries currently ticked off. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys spending time with her partner, seeing her friends, and giving her dog Ziva lots of cuddles.

With over 13 years of experience in the travel industry, including 8 years managing retail travel businesses, Nat brings a wealth of experience and passion for creating exceptional travel experiences. Outside of work, she’s a busy mum to two young children and enjoys exploring wineries, attending festivals, relaxing at the beach, and discovering family-friendly cafes.

Hannah has been working in the travel industry for three years and loves travelling, her favourite travel memory is exploring New Orleans. When she is not working she loves playing with her Labrador Winston.

Kerri is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the travel industry, having worked across a variety of agencies in both corporate and leisure travel. Her diverse background has allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the industry's nuances and deliver exceptional service to clients. Outside of work, Kerri is passionate about her family and her Borzoi, who holds a special place in her heart. In addition, she is a diploma-qualified Pilates instructor, blending her love for fitness with a dedication to helping others lead healthier lives.

Tiana has been in the travel industry for 2 years now! She’s spent a lot of time traveling the world with her family - one of her favorite memories is spending Christmas together in New York. She has a passion for all things travel, from planning to packing to exploring. Tiana enjoys spending quality time with her partner, family, and friends.

Georgie has worked in travel for 3+ years now. After completing her university studies in tourism, she started in retail travel and found her passion for the industry. One of her favourite travel memories is climbing Sigiriya Rock while visiting Sri Lanka. When she isn't at work, you can find her spending time with loved ones, in a group fitness class, or paddleboarding!

Ivana transitioned from banking to travel in 2015 and spent several years with boat charter companies in Split, Croatia. After returning to Australia, she knew travel was the only industry for her…and has loved it ever since! She enjoys scenic walks, time with friends and family, and indulging in Adelaide’s baked goods. Next up on her bucket list is New Zealand.

Mia began her time in the travel industry over six years ago and is deeply passionate about seeing all that the world has to offer. Despite her fear of flying, she has managed to reach 36 countries and counting. Outside of work, Mia loves to cook up a storm, dance and spend as much time as in the sun as possible, especially by the beach.

Kerrie began her career in travel back in 2008 and discovered a passion for it immediately. She has travelled to over 30 countries and fell in love with Italy for its food, wine, and culture. During COVID, she took a break from the industry and also became a mum. After missing being part of the travel world, she decided it was time to return to doing what she loves. Kerrie enjoys spending time with her family and experiencing fine dining.
