Qantas released a double status credit offer this morning and we are more than a little excited about just how many Status Credits you can earn with some of the current deals. We’ve put together a suggested itinerary based on what we think is one of the best options on the market at the moment.

Whilst base pricing is just for a return to Helsinki, by adding in a European destination and additional stops for just extra taxes you really maximise the potential of these deals for only a small additional cost. It then becomes enough status credits to go straight to Gold in 1 trip as long as you do another 2 QF sectors within 12 months to hit the minimum 4 x QF sector target. However, you can add on a domestic flight to this deal for just additional taxes, great if Sydney isn’t your home base or if you want to achieve those 2 sectors on the one trip [one before and one after the flights to/from Asia]. Then you’ll earn an extra 160 Status Credits bring you to a total of 1,000 status credits…instant Gold and just 400 away from Platinum!
