Qantas today announced that 4 of their new 787-9 Dreamliners are going straight to Brisbane!
No word yet on how they will be used but the possibility of new international routes have been hinted at by the airline, with the dreamliner capable of flying non-stop to North American destinations including Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, and Vancouver from Brisbane.
The first Brisbane based Dreamliner will arrive in mid-next year with all 4 in place by the end of 2018.
Qantas last year opened it’s new international business lounge in Brisbane and the new Qantas Club is set to open in coming months.
