Japan Airlines have launched a new inflight dining menu including meals created by Michelin starred chefs.
The new menu will roll out on international flights from September 1st, and will include highlights such as meals by 2 star Michelin Chef Shinobu Namae in Premium Economy and Economy flights to Hawaii.
Premium Economy and Economy passengers on long haul flights between Japan and Australia, USA, or Europe will enjoy inflight meals specially created by four new chefs from RED U-35, the largest culinary competition in Japan.
For a limited period, until November 30 2018 Premium Economy and Economy passengers on selected long haul flights will enjoy a tasty Yoshinoya Beef Bowl.
Business and First Class long haul passengers will enjoy JAL’s Original Chicken Curry a specialty dish created by the Michelin starred Hashimoto Restaurant.
New sweets will also be available in the self-service corner for Business class and first class passengers looking for a mid flight snack, such as the Pressed Butter Sandwich - a cookie filled with cream caramel.
