LATAM Airlines have started to roll out their new business class cabin. The airline unveiled the new design earlier this year and will be retrofitting 200 existing aircraft as well as featuring it on new 787 and A350 aircraft, with the project due to be completed over the next two years.

The new Business Class cabin which is a similar design to the Qantas Business Class cabin, give aisle access to all passengers in a 1-2-1 configuration. The cabin is filled with luxury materials and finishes, as well as colours and lighting designed to help create a space for passengers to relax.

The business class seat which converts to a fully flat bed has everything a traveller could need within arms reach including an 18” personal entertainment screen, storage for personal items, cocktail table, reading light, optional privacy screen and a do not disturb sign.

To complement the new cabin design LATAM is adjusting their service to guarantee a restful environment for the passengers to ensure they arrive at their destinations feeling relaxed and refreshed. These changes include a redesigned dining concept aimed to promote rest, fewer interruptions from the crew, mattress toppers and pyjamas for maximising comfort.
