Qantas Status Credit Boost

Tue, 14 Jul 2020

Qantas Frequent Flyer members may have received a nice surprise this week with the roll out of another Status Credit boost program from Qantas. In addition to the 12 month status credit extension announced back in March, the airline is now also giving eligible members 50% of the required Status Credits required to keep your Silver, Gold, Platinum or Platinum One status.

All members with a status end date between March 2021 - February 2022 are eligible for the boost and will receive the following:

Silver QFF Member - 125 SC
Gold QFF Member - 300 SC
Platinum QFF Member - 600 SC
Platinum One QFF Member - 1800 SC

The one off boost will be received by eligible members from this month with members with a status end date between March - June 2021 receiving the SC boost today and members with a July 2021 - February 2022 receiving the boost on a rolling month by month schedule.

Additionally, members with a status end date between March 2021 - August 2021 (those most impacted by the travel restrictions) will receive additional monthly Status Credits until September 2020. The number of monthly Status Credits again depends on your status, along with your status end date and will be awarded on a sliding scale.

Members with an end date of March 2021 will receive more than those with an end date of August 2021, with the total number of Status Credits awarded as follows:

Silver QFF Member: 5 - 30 SC
Gold QFF Member: 15 - 90 SC
Platinum QFF Member: 50 - 300 SC
Platinum One QFF Member: 150 - 900 SC

So check your status, your account could already be looking healthier than last month. And if eligible, you could see some more status credits roll in over the next few months keeping our Status Credit goals alive until we can all take to the skies again.
